Sanjay Dutt is back with a bang with the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster, ‘Prasthaanam’. The film, which is being produced by Dutt’s production house, stars Ali Fazal who plays his son, along with Manisha Koirala and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles. The cast is currently shooting for the film in Lucknow, which is being directed by the original film’s director, Deva Katta.
Meanwhile, Dutt’s biopic ‘Sanju’, directed by Rajkumar Hirani with Ranbir Kapoor playing the titular character released on Friday. The entire industry has been abuzz since the trailer launch and awaiting with bated breath to watch their Sanju Baba’s story on celluloid. Dutt, who has been supremely excited about the film, has company in the form of his reel life son Ali who is equally enthused about the release of the film. Not only is the ‘Victoria and Abdul’ (2017) actor looking forward to seeing the film but the entire cast and crew of ‘Prasthaanam’ want to watch the film in the first week itself. Seeing the curiosity amongst his co-actors especially Fazal who considers Dutt his role model, the latter decided to hold a special screening of ‘Sanju’ for the cast and crew of ‘Prasthaanam’ in Lucknow.
