Sanjay Dutt biopic to include alleged underworld links

Ranbir Kapoor is to play Sanjay Dutt on the big screen in a biopic about the actor titled, ‘Dutt’. It’s now been revealed by director Rajkumar Hirani that the actor’s underworld links will also be included.

Hirani recently said that he realised that phase of Dutt’s life was important to include in the film even though he was a little hesitant initially. Hirani is thought to have sat with Abhijat Joshi to work out how to involve that part in the film.

The film is expected to go on the floors in 2016.
