Sanjay Dutt on ‘Bhoomi’ wrap: “It’s an emotional day for me”

‘Bhoomi’ has finally wrapped up and for Sanjay Dutt it’s been an emotional journey. An Omung Kumar directorial, this will be the ‘Munnabhai M.B.B.S’ (2003) actor’s first film since his release from Yerwada Central jail in 2016.

Reported in the Times Of India, Dutt is delighted on completing the film and can’t wait for it to release in cinemas. “The experience has been wonderful right from the first day. It’s an emotional day for me as we culminate this lovely journey. I’m now looking forward to see the film release soon,” said Dutt.

Producers Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Singh are all praise for Dutt’s performance in the film and happy with the end results. “Sanjay is a powerhouse. He has worked tirelessly right from the first day of shoot and given everything for this role. In spite of all the problems we faced through the entire shoot, he kept shooting and has been an inspiration to the entire team,” said Singh.

Kumar added, “I’m elated about the way Sanjay has shaped for his role. Whatever the circumstances were, there was no stopping for his dedication towards his craft.”
