Sanjay Dutt apologises for bodyguards’ attack at ‘Bhoomi’ shoot

Following various reports of skirmishes breaking out on Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film set ‘Bhoomi’, a further incident has now escalated the matter.  Dutt’s bodyguards had reportedly got violent with media people and fans of the star during the film’s shooting.

A TV journalist has filed a complaint stating the bodyguards physically targeted a few of the media and even snatched expensive equipment.   However according to Mid-Day, the complaint has not been taken seriously by the police which has resulted in local journalists demanding action to be taken against the filmmakers.

Dutt himself has apologised to the media and said “I was not there on the sets when the incident took place. My pack-up was done long time back. Had I been there, the incident wouldn’t have taken place…through our films, a city also gets promoted and if such a mishap happens, then it’s a shame for everybody”.

The bodyguards have also apologised but tension still continues. The incident took place in Agra where the film is currently being shot, however shooting was cancelled after the occurrence took place.
