Sandhya Mridul all ready to promote ‘Angry Young Goddesses’

Sandhya Mridul is back on the big screen with ‘Angry Young Goddesses’. Mridul who is playing a successful woman but a failed mother in the film is promoting the film all over.

To Absolute India, Mridul said, “The film is about the existence of Goddess in every woman and we are seven different women in the film. The film has done extremely well at festivals and we will be travelling all over to promote the film. I am playing a successful corporate woman but a failed mother. Usually women have given up their careers and those who have not have always have the guilt of having failed as a mother. A lot of my friends who saw the film thought that there is a��bit of them in my role. There were a lot of improvisations and less dialogue on paper but there was freedom to improvise. There was a lot of meditation. Dilip Shankar our casting director is one of the greatest acting teachers. They were looking for actors and to pull out some emotions that were actually catharsis. The workshops were getting more out of us as actors.”

‘Angry Young Goddesses’ released on 18th September at the Toronto International Film Festival and had a theatrical release on 4th December.
