Sana Khan not happy being snubbed in ‘Jai Ho’ promos

Sana Khan is unhappy after her big Bollywood break went unnoticed in ‘Jai Ho’.

A friend of Khan told Mumbai Mirror that she was perturbed with her being sidelined, while Daisy Shah walked away with most of the credit amongst the female leads. She expressed her disappointment with makers of the film as she was not shown during the promotional spree and was also missing from posters and trailers.

The friend added, “Sana felt short-changed when she saw the film. She had been assured that she would be there throughout the film but she discovered that she had only one scene before the interval and her role had been truncated.”

Khan is also said to have declined an offer for TV show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ due to this film. “Sana was overjoyed when she was selected as one of the participants. The show could have fetched her a cool Rs 50 lakh. But Salman dissuaded her from taking part in it, pointing out that as his heroine, she should not be over-exposed in a TV show just before her launch. So Sana opted out and today she is rueing the decision,” added the source.
