Samir Onkar in ‘YRKKH’: “My first on screen wedding was fun”

Samir Onkar, better known as Samarth Goenka in Rajan Shahi’s ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, recently had his first experience of getting married on screen.

Speaking about this, Onkar says, “The marriage of Samarth and Gayu was very dramatic in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and my first on screen wedding was fun. There were functions from Haldi to wedding to receptions. One could revive real emotions and memories out of it. When my real wedding took place I was busy and working continuously and running from one place to another. The reel wedding actually took me to my own wedding and I was very nostalgic. I always believe in traditions and rituals and while playing Samarth I experienced all those stuff. Finally the audience got to see the real face of Puru Mama (Rituraj Singh) and the high points happened at the wedding.”

Onkar is enjoying his stint in the show and everyday he looks forward to go to the set.
