Samir Ahluwalia quits as ZEE Media after 19 years

Samir Ahluwalia has quit his position as head of ZEE Business and moved out from ZEE Media after a 19-year tenure.

Ahluwalia, who joined the company in 1997, also served as CEO for a short time after Alok Agrawal left the organisation.

There has been much negative press surrounding Ahluwalia and ZEE News head, Sudhir Chaudahry – both accused in Rs. 100 crore extortion case by industrialist and former MP Naveen Jindal. They were released on bail.

A replacement is yet to be announced.
