Sameera Reddy last graced the screens in 2012 in Prakash Jha’s ‘Chakravyuh’, and after nearly three years the actress has already completed her next project. If reports are to be believed the actress has lent her voice for an Abhimanyu Singh mythological directorial titled ‘Mahayoddha Rama’ for the role of Sita.

Apparently the film was set to release at an earlier date, however due to a few pre-production issues, it was delayed. Talking to the media, Mumbai Mirror reported Reddy explaining, “I dubbed for it during my pregnancy but the film was delayed and changed production houses as well. The issues have now been sorted and I’m glad it’s being released. It was interesting to dub for another character. As an actor, one is usually restricted to being one’s own voice.”

Talking about coming back in front of the camera again as a new mother, the actress expressed, “I admire moms who get back to work right after delivery, but it’s not easy. It will take a while before I can consider an actual comeback. But I will do my bit for this film because I’m particular about keeping my commitments.”

The film will also star Kunal Kapoor as Ram as well as Jimmy Shergil and Gulshan Grover in pivotal roles.
