Sameera Reddy expecting first child

Having married entrepreneur Akshai Varde earlier this year, news has it that Sameera Reddy and her husband are expecting their first child.

When contacted, Mid-Day reported a close friend of Reddy’s confirming, “Sam is expecting and we all are very happy for her.”

The couple met whilst the actress was shooting an ad for one of Varde’s bike commercials and have been together ever since. Reddy’s sister Meghna Reddy went onto say, “It was a lovely surprise when we found out about Sam’s pregnancy. Akshai and Sam make a really cute couple and they are both looking forward to parenthood.W

Despite being married, Reddy has no plans on giving up films as of yet. Though she has taken some time out form the Hindi Cinema scene she has appeared in a number of South Indian films.
