Sameer receives world record for ‘Most Prolific Lyricist’

He has written many of Bollywood’s most acclaimed songs, so it comes to no surprise when Sameer Anjaan has just received a world record for his work.

As reported by��Guinness World Record, Sameer has won the world title for ‘Most Prolific Lyricist’. The decision was made in December 2015, where he also received the award in Mumbai.

Sameer’s career started in 1983, where his first song was featured in the film ‘Bekhabar’, where he then went on to write songs for films like ‘Dil’ (1990), ‘Aashiqui’ (1990), ‘Saajan’ (1991), ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ (1998) and ‘Dhadkan’ (2000).
