Sameer Rao quits as Star Gold manager

Star Gold’s General Manager, Sameer Rao has quit to join filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s production house as CEO.

He will remain at the channel until Wednesday 10th November before taking up his new work at the new company on Monday 15th November.

“I have been talking to my higher ups of my desire to look for a change for some time now. Having got a right opportunity now, I have decided to move on. I will be joining Chopra’s company as CEO,” Rao tells IndianTelevision.com.
