Samantha Prabhu replaces Sara Ali Khan in Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Ashwatthama’?

After budget constraints, Aditya Dhar’s ‘Ashwatthama’ was scrapped after his collaborator Ronnie Screwvala found the film unviable.

However, it seems the project has been revived with rumours that Samantha Prabhu will be seen playing the female lead, replacing Sara Ali Khan. Vicky Kaushal will continue as the protagonist.

ETimes reports that Dhar has received backing from Jio Studios. The shoot of the film is expected to commence in May 2023.
