Samaa TV cleared by Ofcom for ‘News Beat’ show

Ofcom has cleared news broadcaster, Samaa TV for a certain segment it aired during ‘News Beat with Paras Jahanzeb’ on 18th August 2017.

A complaint was received by the media regulator about the content, which related to “crime and disorder”. However, after speaking to the broadcaster, Samaa TV has avoided being found in breach.

Samaa TV is available on the Sky platform in the UK.
