Samaa TV begins testing ahead of relaunch on Sky

Urdu news broadcaster, Samaa TV has commenced testing on Sky ahead of its relaunch on Sky.

The channel went off-air in July last year after being on-air since 2012.

Samaa TV returns on Thursday 18th August. It is being relaunched by World Media Connect.

Tests of Samaa TV on Sky can be seen here:
-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu
-> Select System Setup
-> Select Add Channels
-> Enter frequency: 11.464 (H), FEC: 5/6, SR: 22000 / DVB-S / QPSK
-> Find Channels and Press SELECT
-> Highlight “5” service and press Yellow button
-> Return to Services Menu
-> Other Channels (6) on ST4227B / (8) on Sky+
-> Click on “54227” to view the channel
