Salman’s blackbuck case adjourned until 1st April

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan’s long-running blackbuck case has now been adjourned until Saturday 1st April.

Earlier today, the Jodhpur Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) confirmed the hearing will now take place next week.

The Asian Age reports that a woman activist and lawyer Abha Singh earlier this month had claimed Khan had made a mockery out of the the judiciary on several occasions. They added that he should be tried for perjury and for wasting time in the legal system.

The case, which stretches back to 1998 during the filming of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ involves Khan, along with other cast members, who have been accused of killing two blackbucks in Kankani village.
