Salman to compete with Akshay on Eid next year

First it was a full drawn conclusion that Akshay Kumar will not have any major opposition during Eid next year at the box office. However, this has now changed!

Eid legend, Salman Khan who has four blockbuster hits at the ticket window since 2009, will most likely release a film next Eid to compete with Kumar’s ‘Once Upon Time In Mumbai’ sequel.

A source told reporters in India that Khan and his brother Sohail Khan have acquired the rights of a South Indian film, which will release during the festivities. The film in question is not ‘Sher Khan’ but another.

A source says, ���Salman has had an amazing track record with four back-to-back hits on Eid. The name of the South remake is being kept under wraps till a formal announcement is made.�۝
