Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who has worked with Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and is all set to work with Shah Rukh Khan said that he doesn’t see the Khans of Bollywood as ‘stars’.
When asked how he felt associating himself with the titans of Bollywood, Siddiqui told Mid-Day, “It is. After all, they are superstars. They have survived, and maintained their position for so many years_ and that’s a huge thing. Having said that, when I work with them, I don’t look at them as stars. I see them as characters. Seeing them as stars will be disrespecting their work. The day I look at them as Salman or Shah Rukh during a scene, I’ll quitacting. ”
Talking about his ‘Kick’ co-star, he said, “Salman still has child-like innocence in him, and that’s the beauty of his personality. He’s a great person.”
Siddiqui, who has worked with Aamir in ‘Sarfarosh’ (1999) and ‘Talaash’ (2012), and with Salman in ‘Kick’ (2014), will soon be seen sharing silver screen with Shah Rukh in ‘Raees’.
