Salman rejects ‘Bombay Talkies’ song because of SRK?

Recently, BizAsia reported that ‘Bombay Talkies’ will bring together Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan on the same screen. Further to that, it has become apparent that Salman Khan was also approached for the movie but turned it down due to Shah Rukh’s involvement.

The appearance of Shah Rukh is to be in a song which Aamir is believed to already have done the shoot for. According to sources, Salman was also asked to be a part of the same song but when he learnt of Shah Rukh’s participation, he refused to take it on.

It seems that an audiences’ dream of seeing all three Khan stalwarts together will remain just that for now. What with ‘Bombay Talkies’ being a unique project to mark the 100 years span of Bollywood, one would have hoped that Salman would agree.
