Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ to be shot across UAE, Istanbul & USA?

With travel restrictions easing around the world, it seems Aditya Chopra is keen to push ahead with plans for pre-production work on the third instalment of Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger’ franchise.

If all goes well, Chopra will instruct director Maneesh Sharma to re-commence recce work on ‘Tiger 3’, with plans to shoot across UAE, Istanbul and USA.

A source told Mid-Day, “If everything goes as planned, Maneesh Sharma and his team will conduct a recce across the UAE, Istanbul and the US in December. The rest of the countries have yet to be pencilled in. Tiger 3 is close to Adi’s heart as he has developed the screenplay along with Jaideep Sahni. Despite the industry slowdown, Adi is certain that the film has the makings of a blockbuster. Maneesh and he want to take it on floors by February.”

While Katrina Kaif is favourite to bag the female lead again opposite Khan, the report says that the makers are scouting for a new face for the antagonist who would go head to head with Khan’s character Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger.

The source added, “They want to cast a relatively new face as the villain, like they did with Sajjad Delafrooz and Sal Yusuf in Tiger Zinda Hai.”

The announcement for ‘Tiger 3′ is expected as a part of Yash Raj Films’ 50th anniversary.
