Salman Khan’s ‘Kick 2’ not releasing on Eid 2020

After the sudden announcement of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Inshallah’ starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt being shelved, there has been much speculation about which Khan film will be replacing it as the Eid bonanza in 2020.

There have been rumours aplenty about Khan’s ‘Kick 2’ being the primary choice but it now has been confirmed by Sajid Nadiadwala that it will not be ready for next year.

At an event, Nadiadwala cited in PinkVilla saying, “I have just started writing it. It is not coming on Eid.”

He added, “I had gone to his place and he asked me, how much are you ready (to start the film). I said I have written one draft (of the script) and need at least three to six months to re-write the draft. So, I will be ready by Eid with the script.”
