Salman Khan’s hit-and-run court hearing on 30th January

Salman Khan was ‘missing’ the last time the Mumbai police were to serve him summons. However, BizAsia has learnt that the hearing is now to take place of 30th January.

Social worker Santosh Daundkar alleged that the evidence submitted in the 2002 hit-and-run case was untrue the the police were to call him for court because of the application. Mumbai police had claimed they were unable to find Khan despite him being spotted at various festive celebration events.

Daundkar has said that Khan was being given special treatment and using his influence to manipulate the case. Coincidentally, the initial court hearing date was 27th December which is of course Sallubhai’s birthday.
