Salman Khan’s film with Atlee remains on hold due to major setback?
Salman Khan’s much-anticipated collaboration with director Atlee is reportedly on hold.
The film has reportedly encountered a significant setback, with both Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth stepping away from the project. Following their departure, Atlee considered casting Hollywood star Will Smith instead.
According to a source speaking to Bollywood Hungama, “After the casting of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth fell through, Atlee explored the possibility of bringing Will Smith on board. Salman Khan played a key role in connecting Atlee with Will Smith, and initial discussions were progressing positively. However, in a surprising turn, Sun Pictures insisted on casting a South Indian superstar alongside Salman Khan.”
