Salman Khan’s black buck poaching case to be heard on 29th November

A court order has been passed regarding the arguments in the black buck poaching case against Salman Khan. CJM Rural Court has fixed a hearing date for 29th November.

Khan has been accused of misleading the court, DNA reported. According to forest officer Lalit Boda’s case, Khan was being dishonest when he filed an application seeking exemption from a personal appearance in court, due to severe pain in his ear. Khan was reportedly shooting for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ (2015) on the same day he requested an exemption from court. He is facing a maximum of seven years in jail if found guilty.

Khan was found guilty in the black buck poaching case under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act and was sentenced to five years in jail and a Rs. 10,000 fine. He was later released from jail after being granted bail.
