Salman Khan unhappy with continuing ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ promotions?

Diwali release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has been doing great the box office both in India and overseas. Lead actor Salman Khan is now unhappy that he and the film’s team are still having to promote the film but it seems makers are wanting the promotional activities to continue because the reviews for the film have been less than impressive.

“Salman bhai thought that they had done enough promotions for the film and Sooraj Barjatyaji agreed. The film�۪s awesome opening box office figures proved that the film had been sold to the public, too. The reviews, however, have been largely negative and the��producers feel that these reviews may have an adverse effect on ticket sales after the first weekend. They�۪ve, therefore, advised Salman, Sooraj, Sonam and the PRDP team to continue with the promotions,” said a source to Deccan Chronicle.

Talking specifically about Khan, the source added, “At the moment, we don�۪t know if he will continue with the publicity or not. He has indicated that he isn�۪t happy with the idea of more publicity for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”.

The film sees Khan reprise the role of Prem which he has been known for from very early on in his career.
