It was quite an ordeal for Salman Khan on Tuesday when he appeared at Sessions Court for the hearing of the 2002 hit-and-run case, with some saying he’s turned to divine intervention to help him through these tough times.

As was reported on BizAsia yesterday, the prosecution witnesses identified Khan. One of the witnesses told prosecutor Jagannath Kenjalkar that it was a big car involved in the accident and said police had reached the spot along with him. He had said the car had rammed into a laundry and its bumper had hit the shutter of the shop.

Mid-Day reports that the actor appeared very calm and composed during the hearing. It also states that he was silently praying as he sat with his hands folded when the proceedings began.

A source told Mid-Day, Salman seemed to have a bad throat and he did fiddle with his bracelet out of nervousness. But for the most part, he was calm during the hearing. Some cops and the actor۪s bodyguard tried their best to stop fans from photographing the actor.۝
