Salman Khan to snub Priyanka for Katrina in Eid 2020 release?

After Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ unceremonious exit from ‘Bharat’ last year, things between Salman Khan and the global icon have been somewhat lukewarm. When Priyanka left the project for other commitments, Khan roped in Katrina Kaif for the film.

It now seems that Khan will be extending his friendship with Kaif by offering her his next film, scheduled to release on Eid 2020. The film titled ‘Radhe’, is said to be a remake of Korean film ‘The Outlaws’ (2017).

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Bhai plays a cop again in the Eid 2020 release. This would be two back-to-back releases Dabangg 3 followed by the Eid release, where Salman plays a cop. To avoid a sense of sameness his team members suggested Priyanka Chopra since she has no films on hand after The Sky Is Pink releases in October.”

It is said that Khan refused to work with Priyanka at such short notice. The source added, “At such short notice the choice was between Jacqueline Fernandez and Katrina Kaif. With Jacqueline, Salman is already doing Kick 2. He might as well give Katrina the Eid gift.”

Khan will be seen in ‘Radhe’ on Eid 2020 after his film ‘Inshallah’ helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was shelved.
