Salman Khan to re-record songs in ‘Notebook’ & ‘Bharat’ with Indian singers?

After the Pulwama terror attack in India last week, a lot is being done to ban Pakistani artists by Indian music labels, radio stations and now even forthcoming Bollywood films.

It has been reported that Salman Khan is set to replace the vocals of Pakistani singers including Atif Aslam in his next ‘Notebook’ and ‘Bharat’ with an Indian singer. All India Cine Workers’ Association has placed a blanket ban on all Pakistani artists featuring in any future Indian films.

PinkVilla reports that a new singer will be coming on board to replace Aslam’s vocals in his next production ‘Notebook’. There’s further talks of another song in ‘Bharat’ being replaced with an Indian singer. A source told Deccan Chronicle, “This time, Salman knows that he can’t ignore the demand to ban the Pakistani singers. And while he believes the voices of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam suit him best, there are far bigger truths to tackle right now.”
