Salman Khan to produce Star Plus’ ‘Nach Baliye 9’?

After the romping success of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony Entertainment Television, Salman Khan is set to wave his magic on Star Plus’ reality show ‘Nach Baliye 9’.

Rumours are rife that the upcoming season of ‘Nach Baliye 9’ will be helmed by Khan’s production house. Some reports have said that the show will feature ex-couples teaming up to compete with other pairs on the show. However, SpotBoye reports that the show will return in its original format with real-life couples vying for the title prize. Furthermore, Khan may lure his good friend, Katrina Kaif on the judging panel.

A source told the publication, “Salman Khan may produce the show and we might see Katrina sit on the judges’ panel. However, nothing is finalised yet as the channel is still in talks with Salman’s team.”

‘Nach Baliye 9’ is expected to air after the current season run of ‘The Voice’ in the weekend slot. The show is not expected to air until the Indian Premier League ends in May.

The last season of ‘Nach Baliye’ concluded in 2017 with Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya walking away with the trophy.
