Salman Khan to produce a South remake

Salman Khan has always shown a keen interest in South films, having been a part of many such remakes over the years, including: ��Tere Naam�۪ (2003), ��Wanted�۪ (2009), ��Bodyguard�۪ (2011) and ��Ready�۪ (2011).�� The latest news is that the actor will be producing a Hindi remake of the South film ��Happy Days�۪ (2007), which was directed by Sekhar Kammula.

���We are in talks with Salman as we got to know that Salman has seen the film and is keen to co-produce it.�� Though nothing is official yet, it is confirmed that Sekhar Kammula will be directing the Hindi version soon,�۝ Kammula�۪s assistant director, Ajay, told Absolute India.

The film centres around eight college friends and rumours are doing the rounds that Salman Khan is looking to introduce many fresh faces with the Bollywood version.
