Salman Khan to give Indian Olympic athletes Rs. 1 Lakh

Salman Khan is taking his post as the goodwill ambassador for this year’s Rio Olympics, extremely seriously. With India failing to strike gold yet, the actor is full of enthusiasm and generosity, and has announced he will be giving the athletes a very big gesture.

Taking to his own social media page on��Facebook, Khan expressed, “As a gesture of appreciation for our Olympic athletes, I will present each one with a cheque of Rs. 1,01,000. The government is very supportive of sports. Each of us can also do our bit to encourage a sports nation. I admire the work that Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ) is doing to shape tmrw’s champions. And also companies like Edelweiss, Jio and others who have come forward to support the Olympics.”

Khan is known to be a very giving person. With his own charity ‘Being Human’ raising a large sum of money towards the welfare of children and education, he is sure proving to live up to his title of goodwill.
