Salman Khan has had a good run at the box office recently with a number of his films clicking well at the box office.
However, the superstar, who has been working on lightning speed as a producer, actor and TV host of ‘Bigg Boss’, is expected to slow down to focus further on the content that he is churning out.
A source told The Asian Age, “That was one reason he was keen on the collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali named Inshallah. But after that film fell through, he began work on Radhe. He has also had a few sittings with his dear friend Sajid Nadiadwala, who produced Housefull 4 recently, to discuss how they need to not just keep the sequel to Kick interesting, but entertaining as well.”
The source added that an announcement of ‘Kick 2’ with Khan is imminent. “They are looking at the second quarter of 2020 to start shooting so that they can release it in 2021. There will be a lot of special effects in the film, which is why it will not come in 2020. Only when Sajid is sure of how the film will shape up, he will announce the release date,” said the source.
