Salman Khan suggests Katrina Kaif for SLB’s next?

It has been two decades since ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999), and rumour has it that Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are coming together once again for a love story. It’s not yet known who will be Khan’s leading lady.

According to TOI, Bhansali is keen on casting Deepika Padukone, however Khan wants the filmmaker to consider Katrina Kaif to star opposite him. There is some speculation that Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor have been suggested as well, but the ‘Padmaavat’ (2018) director feels they would look too young in front of Khan.

This isn’t the first time the ‘Race 3’ (2018) actor and Bhansali have been in talks for a film, reports suggest the pair were discussing the possibility of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ (2015) with Khan even arranging Kaif to audition for the role.

Another name rumoured to be in for the running is Priyanka Chopra. She happened to drop a hint on Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee With Karan’, that she was in talks with Bhansali for a project. Whether or not it is the same one as Khan will remain to be seen.
