‘The Immortals Of Meluha’ was meant to be made in the form of ‘Shuddhi’ but it got shelved after may changes in the cast. Where Karan Johar had acquired the rights and wasn’t able to make the film, it seems he just wasn’t able to have the project see the light of day. As such, it’s emerged that Sanjay Leela Bhansali now has the rights and could well be making the film with none other than Salman Khan.

Khan was interested in the film to start with and was meant to star in the film when Johar was producing it. Rumours that Khan and Bhansali would be coming together have been ongoing for some time and it seems this may well be the film in question. Khan had one condition though and that was that Bhansali should direct the film if it was to be made.

It’s not known whether the filmmaker has agreed but this is definitely an interesting development nonetheless.
