After reports emerged that Hrithik Roshan has secured a six-film deal with a television network, worth Rs. 550 crore, Salman Khan has followed news of his own.

He has reportedly signed a deal with a broadcaster worth a staggering Rs. 1000 crore for ten films including ‘Tubelight’ and his upcoming film with Rajkumar Santoshi.

DNA India reports that with his recent films like ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Kick’ striking gold at the box office, “channels are willing to pay him triple the amount to air his films and have his presence grace their shows, be it sports-based shows or reality shows.”

The rights for ‘Sultan’ lay with Yash Raj Films, who traditionally sell their film rights to Sony Pictures Networks.
