Bollywood hunk Salman Khan makes his debut as a TV host for a gameshow to be screened on Sony Entertainment Televison Asia, next month.

‘Dus Ka Dum’ is the Indian version of the hit American show ‘Power Of Ten’ and will be the actor’s first attempt on TV after the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Govinda, Manisha Koiralla and Urmila succeeded in some way or another.

According to Sony TV business head Albert Almeida, ‘Dus Ka Dum’ is more inclusive and audience participatory compared to other gameshows.

Almeida adds that participants will need to have an educated stance and a decisive point of view to succeed. “If an issue affects him/her, then it is likely that the participant will answer as per the feelings. If the question pertains to an issue that is far from the individual’s issue, then the participant will have to think about it.”

‘Dus Ka Dum’ will follow the hugely succesful Indian Premier League, which has been showing on Sony TV India over the past month. ‘Dus Ka Dum’ will take the Friday and Saturday 21:00 slot from 6th June.
