Salman Khan on reports of ‘LoveYatri’ being a clean film

With the excitement of his forthcoming production ‘LoveYatri’ getting everyone ready for the festive season, Salman Khan has come out and revealed that the film isn’t the clean family film everyone seems to think it is.

In fact, when speaking to the media, he expressed how the demand for such films has reduced, and as audiences interests progress, film stories have to too. “We are making such clean films that people are not wanting to watch them. Yesterday, we went for a show and there was someone who was harping about the fact that ‘LoveYatri’ is a clean and a family film, I said kisi ko clean family film dekhna nahi hai (nobody wants to watch clean family  films) so don’t rub in. We should be more progressive, kuch acha dikhao inn logon ko (we have to show something good to these people),” Pinkvilla reports the actor-producer explain.

The film will mark the launch of Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, where Khan has been accused of favouring the young actor over other fresh faces. When speaking about this he said, “Sohail (Khan) saw Aayush way before. It was not like that someone would have launched him. He has been training real hard. I knew this nepotism will come.  This is the only one place that nepotism can not work. It’s the audience that will make you a superstar. When they see you, it’s completely their call. Even if you are best looking man, they can reject you. It doesn’t matter how many hits you have – one film that doesn’t work well takes you down.”

“It’s a huge responsibility when you are launching someone. I believe that you should never stop working with them,” he added.

Also introducing Warina Hussain, ‘LoveYatri’ is set to hit the big screens on 5th October.
