Salman Khan to replace Akshay Kumar in ‘Mogul’?

Despite there being reports that Akshay Kumar has denied all speculation, the latest buzz still suggests that he has stepped away from the Gulshan Kumar biopic, ‘Mogul’. It’s now being said that Salman Khan could step in.

In January, BizAsiaLive.com reported that Aamir Khan was being considered for the part as Kumar had decided against being in it. However, now the latest reports suggest Salman could be the replacement. A source told Asian Age, “We don’t know whether it’s a date issue or whether Akshay had issues about certain controversial aspects of Gulshan’s life. But he has decided to not do the film. He has even returned the signing amount.”

The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar.
