Salman Khan to reimburse ‘Race 3’ distributors for losses incurred?

Salman Khan is known to pay back to distributors any losses his films make and despite ‘Race 3’ being a success at the box office somewhat, it seems the actor may have to do the same once again.

The film released at Eid and has received much flak from critics and audiences on social media. At the same time, loyalists to the cast members and some cinema-goers have liked the film. However, it seems Khan is preparing. A source told SKJ, “Bhai doesn’t want the distributors to suffer losses. He had compensated them for their losses over Tubelight. He will do so again for Race 3 provided he gets to know the extent of the losses. Right now the picture regarding the film’s box office collections is hazy”.

Having made over Rs. 100 crore in the first week, Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju’ has impacted on the film’s business. It’s thought the film isn’t likely to go on to make money in its third week. The source added, “When Tubelight bombed Salman could put the blame on the director Kabir Khan as Kabir would not listen to Salman’s suggestions. But this time during Race 3 director Remo D’Souza did exactly what Salman wanted”.
