Salman Khan refers to Katrina Kaif as “Katrina Kapoor”

There aren’t many who don’t know the connection between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. At the former’s sister Arpita’s wedding, Kaif was invited but there were reports that her alleged other half, Ranbir Kapoor, didn’t receive an invitation. Interestingly, it has emerged that Khan had joked about Kaif and Kapoor’s relationship during one of the functions.

According to TOI, the story goes that Khan called Kaif onto the stage when the song Chikni Chameli was being played. Although Kaif tried her best to hide, she eventually had to give in when instead of calling her by her own name, Khan resorted to demanding that “Katrina Kapoor” come to the stage. He went onto say, “Mai kya karoon… I gave you a chance to become Katrina Khan, but you chose to be ‘Katrina Kapoor'”.

No doubt this comment made not only Kaif smile but also those present at the function. And it has to be said that perhaps it is only Salman Khan who would get away with such a mischievous act.

Arpita’s wedding festivities have remained in the news, especially the photo tweeted by Atul Agnihotri which saw Salman and Shah Rukh Khan blessing her.
