Dharma Productions’ ambitious project, ‘Shuddhi’, has already faced much delay and producer Karan Johar was allegedly hoping to finally start shooting by mid-2015. However, there has now been a change to Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’ plans as actor Salman Khan has apparently given those shooting dates to Yash Raj Films for ‘Sultan’.

A source toldMid Day, “‘Shuddhi’ has already been delayed due to a few changes in the cast. Now, it has been postponed further as Salman will shoot for ‘Sultan’ after completing Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.”

While Khan’s co-star in ‘Shuddhi’ has not yet been announced, it is being heard that Deepika Padukone will be teaming up with the actor for the first time in YRF’s Ali Abbas Zafar directed ‘Sultan’.

‘Shuddhi’ has been confirmed as a Diwali 2016 release and it is not yet known if the delay in shooting will result in the release date shifting.
