Salman Khan on black-buck case: “I am innocent”

Salman Khan has appeared in a Jodhupur court to record a statement after being accused of killing two blackbuck deers during the shoot of ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ in 1998.

Economic Times reports Khan claiming he was not guilty and added that the blackbuck had a ‘natural death’.

Khan was joined in court by Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam as co-accused. Salman has been charged with killing the endangered animals during an alleged hunt in Rajasthan. He was cleared in an Arms Act case where he was accused of keeping and using an unlicenced weapon.
