Stepping back into the producers shoes, Salman Khan is gearing up for his next production of the remake of the 1983 classic ‘Hero’. It was recently reported that Khan had asked director Nikhil Advani to re-shoot some of the scenes in the film. However the buzz is that this was definitely not the case.

According to Mid-Daya source close to the director explained how everyone has been happy with the footage of the film so far, and nothing has had to be re-done. “Nikhil had recently organised a screening for the film’s cast and crew plus a few friends. Here, he showed some footage from the film and everyone loved it. He has lived up to everyone۪s expectations, so there is no truth to Salman demanding a re-shoot,” the source stated.

Contrary to what people may think of producers taking the backseat when it comes to actually shooting the film, Khan has very much been involved in the whole process. With the film marking the debut of actorsSooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, it seems Khan want’s to make sure everything is just right, “He has been taking time out to visit the sets of the film he wants to keep a tab on its making. Also, Salman is close to both Sooraj and Athiya, who he is launching in this film. So he wants everything to go off smoothly.”

Also named ‘Hero’, the film will also star Govinda and Vinod Khanna.
