Salman Khan not making a cameo in ‘Loveratri’

Earlier this week Salman Khan’s production house Salman Khan Films, released the trailer for ‘Loveratri’, which debuts Khan’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain. There was speculation that Khan wold make a cameo, but this has now been quashed.

Reported on DNA India, initially the rumours were saying that the classic hit song ‘Dholi Taro’ from ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ (1999) which starred the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017) actor with Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, was going to be reprised for ‘Loveratri’, but it has now been confirmed this won’t be happening.

A source confirmed, although Khan isn’t making an appearance his brother’s Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan will. “Loveratri has cameos by Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. But Salman has neither an appearance nor a song in it.” The continued to explain the reasoning behind the ‘Race 3 (2018) actors decision behind this. “Salman doesn’t want the attention to be diverted from the film or its lead actors; Aayush and Warina Hussain. He feels that the song he had sung in Hero, which marked Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty’s debut, eventually sidelined everything else. So, he has strictly decided to not be part of Loveratri in any way.”

‘Loveratri’ is slated to release on the 5th October, just ahead of the nine day festival Navratri commencing, which is sure to get everyone in the mood.
