Salman Khan in Sultan 340x

Salman Khan and filmmaker, Kabir Khan’s winning combination continues after reports emerged of a fourth collaboration between the two.

Kabir has directed Salman in three huge hit films so far, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012), ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ (2015) and the soon to release ‘Tubelight’. According to DNA India, the two will collaborate for Atul and Alvira Agnihotri’s next film starring Salman.

A source told DNA India, Salman has immense faith in Kabir as a filmmaker and after two blockbuster hits in ETT and BB, the comfort level has only grown stronger with Tubelight. And when Atul and Alvira were looking out for a director to helm their next project, Salman suggested Kabir۪s name. He has become like a family member to the Khans. Another director Salman has worked with that often is Sooraj Barjatya, who gave Salman his first hit Maine Pyaar Kiya. They also worked together in Hum Aapke Hain… Koun, Hum Saath-Saath Hain and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.۝

Incidentally, the report adds that Rajkumar Santoshi was initially the director for Atul and Alvira’s next production but they parted ways due to script differences. Kabir is now expected to take the project forward, which is based on the 1983 World Cup victory.
