In Video: Salman Khan joins shoot of Mahesh Manjrekar’s ‘Antim’

As soon as lockdown rules had been lifted, many big names from the filmmaking industry ensures they got back to work as soon as they could, including Salman Khan who has been working non-stop since. News has it that the actor recently joined his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma for Mahesh Manjrekar’s ‘Antim’ not so long ago and his look is being kept under wraps.

“Salman plays a no-nonsense Sikh cop who is on a mission to end gang-wars and land mafia in his area of jurisdiction. After wrapping up his action-thriller ‘Radhe’ in October, in which he sports a clean-shaven look, he took time off to grow a beard. There is high security on the sets to ensure that his look does not get leaked. Salman wants to take his fans by surprise,” Bollywood Life reports a source revealing.

Further reports reveal Sharma will play the role of a gangster where an action-chase sequence has already been shot. “In this schedule, Salman and Aayush will be filming several confrontation scenes. While the cop is a serious guy, there is an underlying tone of dark humour to the character that is Mahesh Manjrekar’s trademark,” the source went on to add.

Not taking any breaks, the actor will apparently work throughout the month of December. “It’s going to be a nonstop shoot through December and they are expected to complete the film by mid-January. However, Salman will take his annual birthday break in the last week of the year,” he added.
