Salman Khan: “I don’t forgive easily”
Referred to by most colleagues in the industry as ‘yaaron ka yaar’ (a true friend), Salman Khan has always been known to speak his mind. The actor says he does not like fake people and does not forgive easily.
In a chat withMid Day, Khan said, “I don۪t forgive easily. There was a time when people would come and hit me and I wouldn۪t say a thing. But now, I have learnt that I need to react, so that they don۪t do it again… if you don۪t forgive them easily, it makes them better people. I don۪t like fake people. I have enough close friends and family with me.”
Giving an example, he went on to add, “If I realise that someone۪s trying to con me, they۪ve had it. Like that friend of mine, Vijay Gilani. He owes me Rs 15 crore and he goes and files a defamation case against me. He has been a friend for more than 15 years. I didn۪t like the way he handled funds during ‘Veer’. I will acquire that money from him.”
On the work front, Khan is looking forward to Bollywood’s Eid release, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Releasing on 17th July, thefilm stars Khanin the title role, alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
