Salman Khan gives Kapil Sharma’s show an extension?

With rumours aplenty surrounding the future of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony Entertainment, it seems Salman Khan is behind the show’s extension.

According to Mid-Day, Khan who is set to host ‘Dus Ka Dum’ for the same channel, is unavailable due to ‘Tubelight’ promotions and therefore Sharma’s show will stay on for a little longer. Khan is also set to be busy with the Dubai shoot of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has been under scrutiny ever since Sharma’s mid-air brawl with Sunil Grover. Since then reports emerged of the show’s ratings plummeting and the future of the show being uncertain.

A source told the publication, “Salman has already started shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai, his reunion with Katrina Kaif. So the makers of Dus Ka Dum have pushed it to January 2018. That’s how the channel could allow Kapil more time to run his show.”

‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is expected to be replaced with another show this summer ahead of ‘Dus Ka Dum’ in the new year.
