Salman Khan gets sweeping for ‘Swacch Bharat’ campaign

As a part of the ‘Swacch Bharat’ campaign, news has it that actor Salman Khan did his bit, by sweeping up a few lanes whilst on location in Kajrat.

According to Mid-Day, Khan was in Kajrat shooting for his forthcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, when he decided to sweep the streets along with other fellow actors. Khan also went onto request his millions of fans across the country, to not throw litter and garbage on the streets in order to keep it clean.

Reports also shared that the actor nominated his friend Aamir Khan to take part in the campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also notified by the actors big efforts. Taking to social networking site Twitter, the PM announced, “The effort by @BeingSalmanKhan is a significant one that will inspire several people to join Swachh Bharat Mission. #MyCleanIndia.”
