Salman Khan drops Remo D’Souza over comments on ‘Race 3’?

During the filming of ‘Race 3’, Remo D’Souza was already on board to make the fourth part of the franchise. However, recent reports suggest that the choreographer-turned-director has been fired by Salman Khan, after he heard of D’Souza’s comments of being directed by him (Khan) in the third film.

“Remo was constantly ‘directed’ by Salman Khan during the shooting of Race 3. In fact the entire cast including Anil Kapoor took directions from Salman. Remo could feel the project going out of control. But there was nothing he could do about it. When Salman Khan takes charge you either comply or you leave,” Bollywood Hungama reports a source revealing.

In another interview, D’Souza had expressed, “I learnt two very important things after that film. Firstly, never work on a half-baked script, work on the script much harder before you roll the camera. And secondly, I have learnt to put my foot down when it’s needed, especially when creative difference happens. One can argue till one level, but not after that… So then, it’s better to put my foot down.”

Apparently D’Souza hasn’t been the only one to have had to work around Khan when it came to making films together. Kabir Khan, of whom The actor shared a really good rapport with, has apparently said he’ll not work with him again after the failure of their third film ‘Tubelight’ (2017).
